Things that make you go hmmmm... This is fishy because this is a dude who loves nothing more than to have his schmarmy face all over the TV and in the news.
Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., who has recently receded from public view to deal with unspecific family obligations, reportedly attended an oil heiress's wedding in San Francisco on Saturday that was officiated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., has not been seen in public since abruptly canceling his trip to the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow on Oct. 29 over "family obligations."

California Covid cases now double those in Florida despite mask mandates. Mask mandates, lockdowns, and authoritarian rules do not work. You will never stop the virus. It's all about power.
California’s coronavirus case rate is twice Florida’s despite mask mandates and recommendations to prevent the spread of the virus.
California’s coronavirus case rate is twice Florida’s despite mask mandates and recommendations to prevent the spread of the virus.Cases in California are no longer falling, with the rate increasing to the CDC’s red "high" level of virus transmission stemming from the delta variant, the outlet reported. But Southern states such as Texas and Florida - where state leaders do not enforce face mask policies or support other strict mandates - are in the CDC’s orange "substantial" transmission level.
California’s vaccination rate is higher than states such as Texas and Florida, but that still hasn’t stopped the outbreaks. Sixty-two percent of California’s total population is fully vaccinated, while Florida reports 60% and Texas 54%.

Laws don't apply. They are just trying to vaccinate as many people as possible. What an effing joke! This pharmacist should be fired and the place sued. But alas, I am sure they will be praised.
A California mom is accusing a CVS Pharmacy of giving her 16-year-old son the COVID-19 vaccine without her consent, according to a local report.
A California mom is accusing a CVS Pharmacy of giving her 16-year-old son the COVID-19 vaccine without her consent, according to a local report.
Amanda Arroyo told KOVR that her son made an appointment online to get the vaccine at a CVS Pharmacy in Davis, California.Arroyo said the pharmacist told her she was only trying to keep the community safe by vaccinating as many people as possible. She now wants the pharmacist to be held responsible and worries the same thing might happen to other parents.
"There is a law in place, there are procedures that are not being followed," Arroyo said. "Really concerned at the fact that I don’t know what this is going to do to him."

Age of consent for vaccines is 12 in Cali.

Pharmacist just doing her job... legally.

Age of consent to vaccinate by state
https://www.kff.org/policy-watch/cov...ental-consent/There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Actually, only partially correct. The vaccination in question took place in Davis, Ca. Age of consent for vaccination in CA is 18. Age of consent for vaccination in San Francisco has been lowered to 12, but not the entire state. Philadelphia, PA also has lowered the age of consent for vaccination to 12. Davis, CA is around 75 miles from San Francisco. Davis is a suburb of Sacramento, not San Francisco, so there should have been no confusion on the part of the pharmacist.
