There are a couple of things in my original post that have been ENTIRELY missed by those who've pointed out my flaws and attitude issues over the last several pages.
Did you miss that part where I stated that getting or not getting a vaccination is a personal decision?
Did you miss that part where vaccinated people made it clear they would not come to my house if there were any unvaccinated people in attendance? Out of my original contact list of around 60 people, I've found 3 who are not vaccinated. You get those kinds of numbers when dealing with people in their 70's and 80's.
HIPPA violation to require people to show vaccination records? Absolutely not. People voluntarily show their cards. Any merchant and any business can make that requirement. If you think that's an invasion of your privacy, then you merely avoid that merchant or business.
I support vaccination, but if you don't want to get vaccinated, that's your choice.
I'm glad I was able to provide a few pages of entertainment by being the point of attack for so many. It appeared you were really enjoying it. I'm glad to have lightened your day and given you the chance for some enjoyment on a work day.

All I’m asking is that you let everyone know that in this act that they understand that they are going against the science.Livin the dream

Absolutely not a HIPPA violation to require proof of vax, because it’s saying to enter into a transaction with said business, you must provide that info. It would be a HIPPA violation if a health entity or the government provided a list of who is and who isn’t to anyone.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

French rush to get vaccinated after president’s warning
More than 1 million people in France made vaccine appointments in less than a day, according to figures released Tuesday, after the president cranked up pressure on everyone to get vaccinated to save the summer vacation season and the French economy.
Some bristled at President Emmanuel Macron’s admonition to “get vaccinated!” immediately, but many people signed up for shots, accepting that getting injected was the only way to return to some semblance of pre-pandemic life.

Don't take it personal. This thread is rife with groupthink. I used to believe the behavior was due to a shared character flaw, or mental illness, but it's closer to what you see in a cult. That never ends well...

I'm no fan of France but... school vaccinations in America are compulsory. And for some diseases that have been fairly eradicated. It's not a dystopia if we do that for Coronaviruses considering we're in the middle of the worst pandemic in over a century. We clearly have a negative externality scenario here. The same people who are screeching "MuH LiBuRty" will be dutifully vaccinating their kids prior to next school year. It's time to cut the crap. All it takes is one really nasty mutation and we will truly be in a nightmare situation normally only seen in movies."You Just Want to Slap The #### Outta Some People"

I know that when I look at this issue, the side that resembles a cult, is definitely not the side of the people policing mask wearing, late night hosts singing songs praising Fauci, preying on fear of death and wanting to control everyone's business and lives. Cults never, ever do those kinds of things. It's definitely the people who want to be more individualistic and take a personal approach as opposed to massing with the herd who are the cultists. 100%"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

Let's begin:
1) We have an actively mutating virus that is highly transmissible, highly disruptive in every existential way imaginable, and appears to be temporarily stifled by a vaccine w/ a diminishing efficacy.
What is the next logical step?
2a) Celebrate America's freedom from Britain by raising your fists and emboldening those who would reject a vaccine out of ignorance or downright selfishness.
Or
2b) Support every initiative on earth (within reason - no blow torches) that seeks to end the pandemic in the fastest and safest way possible engaging in zero political dialogue and focusing on the guidance of epidemiologists and infectious disease specialists.
I'm okay to let you and your conscience hammer this out privately.
