All many of us are riled about is lack of respect. you come in here and treat SN like SN came over to the Phog. This is not the Phog. It will never be the Phog. Please know that. If you don't it is considered trolling, because you are deliberately riling posters. I have no problem with someone liking ku. I have a problem with your attitude. If you want genuine discussion, respect our buttons and don't push them.

Please show me where I pushed buttons? Beyond the occasional comment when I'm being razzed, I have attempted to be respectful. Check the PowerRankings thread. All I asked was a question about the Valley, or offered my opinion on MidMajor not getting respect by the Tourny and their losses carrying more weight than a BCS team's loss.

I wasn't aware that I had to ask permission to join a message board. I post on a handfull of different teams and never felt the need to get approval. With that said I have had a couple members (IDK if they are admins) PM me here and elsewhere and all have said welcome to the boards. Perhaps I should have forwarded them around to keep you all in the loop.

As to your actual problem with me and KU, I think you would find I am not your stuck up KU fan. Sadly, many of you have painted me with that brush after my first post. I've been to many WSU games. I have always followed WSU bball somewhat. I have made many posts here in the last few days because I was quoted and spoken too. I have offered my opinions and then backed them up when asked to.

I have no problem with MidMajors. They are one of the best parts of the NCAA Tourny. In fact I was screaming for WSU to be in the NCAA over some of the absolute PUD BCS schools that made it. You might know this about me if you actually read some of my posts the way they were written and not through anti-crimson glasses. I'm not here to flame, or troll, however I am also not here to pump sunshine at you.

Here's what bugs me about you, ICThawk:

Why the sudden obsession with a Wichita State board? 35 posts in 3 days time in your "first" visit here? Did you lurk at all? Did you talk to board admins about being a host of a KU website, and what kind of response that might bring? I saw KU play in Allen Fieldhouse once. Was a great game they should have lost. I was only a few rows away from where Jacque Vaughn hit the 3 pointer to beat Indiana. I never had much hatred for KU fans, until they lost to UNI. All of a sudden they want to talk down to be because they couldn't beat a UNI team that they said "Shouldn't have been there in the first place"

I wasn't implying that you should ask to join. But if you want to come to a different schools board, you should have some respect for the board. I am a member of boards at MANY different schools. I interact, talk, discuss, disagree, and all that over the past few YEARS and not stirred up a quarter of the storm you have managed in just 3 days.

All I was referring to was the old addage "When in Rome". IF i signed up for one of your boards, I wouldnt put a pic up of Bucknell. I wouldn't be warmly received. I also wouldn't talk to that fan base like they know what it is really like to be a FAN. I love bringing up the 98-00 seasons to the "DIEHARD" Kansas fans. I also love watching them show up in OU gear to watch football games. Then they showed up for a year and half in KU gear when they went to the Orange Bowl and then all of a sudden Mangino was gone and they were back to OU garb. What kind of REAL fan does that? Not Shocker fans. And its not just because we don't have football. Its because we love our SCHOOL and ALL their teams. Not just the one storied part of it. I love asking the "DIEHARD" KU fan what street Allen Fieldhouse is on... you should try it sometime. MOST DON'T KNOW!

So take your high and mighty back to your own website. If you want to DISCUSS Shocker sports, show a little respect for this board, follow the path that we hold ourselves to on other peoples boards, and get over yourself.

I think the problem with this whole situation is that you make a thread, with the sole post being a Zach Morris picture that says "come at me bro" and then expect people to engage you in conversation, when all you did was create a platform to be flamed. It's like going to an away game decked out in your finest fan gear, and then complaining when you get a snarky comment. You can't have it both ways. You can't come here and post up a meme as a thread inciting the populous of the forum, and then start acting like you're the victim when you instigated it.

Instead of creating a thread like you did, which you ask for discussion, yet give no discussion points, I suggest just replying to the bevy of threads already here, and try not to be so condescending in your approach.

I'm closing this thread. I've been reading since the first post, and was hoping that it would go somewhere other than this, which is where I expected it to go. I was hopeful, but it didn't turn out well.
