      Now, to even further prove Gill was a complete failure at life, it appears that in the next few days 50+ players are going to get the boot for academic issues.

            I think Weis is a good hire. Maybe it's just me, but IMO, it is very hard to recruit the athlete ND needs to become a national power again due to their strict academic and social standards at that university. I know this is a generalization, but there seems to be some credence to that belief. Sure, they'll be a blip on the radar from time-to-time, but can anyone tell me that programs with very high academic standards are all that successful on a consistent basis anymore? Stanford and Notre Dame are the only ones I can think of that occasionally makes some noise.
