That is very tough and disturbing to read. I stopped after the 2nd victim.

This girl doesn't get much of chance to speak, but why should she? This is what you are dealing with when you are trying to talk to a certain segment of the Penn State community. Everyone should get due process but this is beyond ANYthing we've seen before in collegiate sports.

Penn stats students protesting the enablers of the child rapist just want to make me puke. Has everybody lost all discernment. Now there are the newest allegations that this penn state foundation was pimping out these kids to big donors....

I almost hate to bring this up....maybe I won't.
There needs to be a bigger discussion here. And not just here, but everywhere. But when you talk about a moral obligation, things get very, very dicey.
And I am going to draw 1 correlation, and I am considering another, that might just hit a little too close to home.
Back to PSU for a moment...how does the former grad assistant still have a flipping job???!!!

One thing that has not receive much run was the actual investigation that was done in 1998 which seemingly just kind of faded into the background. This should have had everyone's antennae way up regarding Sandusky and he should of been on a very tight leash at that point if not outright exposed for what he was at that time. Not sure who all was aware of the 1998 investigation, but sometimes you see what you want to see and you hear what you want to hear.

Following the 1998 deal, he retired from the coaching staff quietly, though he had been for years regarded as Joe's successor. No good explaination was given.McQueary was promoted the year following his decision not to beat the holy hell out of Sandusky. The whole thing stinks. There will be much more to come out and it will be horrible.

One thing I keep hearing is that JoePa and others, not including the Grad Assistant, were in positions of authority.
I can understand that after McQueary had gone to Joe Pa, a person of authority and one who officials and the police would take seriously, and saw that as others of authority were made aware of the situation and nothing was done, that he saw himself in a very weak position to take it any further. Not saying that makes it OK that he didn't, but it would appear that no one else would have backed his play. Even the police may have not taken him seriously and dropped it after getting no confirmations from "those of authority".
For the Penn St board to not fire him now makes one think that they must have a good reason not to. All just guesses.
