12.1 points and 6.1 rebounds get a player $2 million. His agents made the announcement publicly - probably in an effort to get more clients. That also means players considering the portal saw that it...

If there's a Fr who thinks they should be on the court instead of a proven Sr or Grad Student, let them trfr. That type of attitude is always a chemistry issue. Players who understand they need to pay...Last edited by Aargh; 2 days ago.

I have a feeling that the P5's in the field didn't want to risk a loss against a mid-major....

He kinda screwed us over. Used up two years of scholarships for just one year of playing. Then used the extra year of eligibility (that we paid for) to transfer to our most hated conference foe....

It's hard to make a comparison to Pohto without seeing him play but there are some indicators.
Pohto was probably better at rebounding than Meeks will be.
I doubt Meeks has Pohto's...

From the highlights, there's no way this guy is still available. I suspect there are some "lowlights". 7'2" guys who can shoot, rebound, and block shots tend to be heavily recruited.

Keeping players happy when the team is loaded with Sr's, Fr, and Sophs isn't as important as it would be with more class balance. The Fr and Soph's can see PT opening up next year and the Sr's and grads...

Jazz Gardner, 7'0" trfr from Nevada seems to still be uncommitted. He would be a Soph next year. 4* HS player who never got untracked at Nevada. Needs to work on shooting, but he wouldn't have...

If summer school starts without a yet unsigned PF/C in classes we have a problem. If there is a PF/C coming to the team, a late arrival means a shorter adjustment period and less time to learn with the...Last edited by Aargh; 1 week ago.

At this point, other than a few guys who withdrew froim the NBA draft, we're about down to the guys who couldn't find teams and the teams who couldn't find guys.
Meeks appeared to be a slam...

Do we have any position players who can throw strikes? We don't seem to have any pitchers left who can do that.

1) Marshall could have been rehabbed with the right leadership in place several years before the $hit hit the fan.
2) There was no way to "rehab" Boatright. You can't fix stupid....
