Here is a link to the softball schedule. Looks like we could build a little pre-season momentum to carry us into the conference.
Also, I heard that Kersti Rowan left the team. Anyone know if this is true and if so why? She played quite a bit so I am sure it had nothing to do with playing time.

I hope you are right but I can tell you right now you are underestimating their opponents at UCSB and Western Kentucky.

Shocker softball picked 8th in preseason coaches' poll. No surprise there.

Also note that Jamie Hull is a pre-season all-conference selection at 1B.

The poll "clumped" the entire league in pairs (1/2, 3/4, etc.). We are 7/8 with Evansville. I agree, with the loss of KK, the only consistent pitcher, the preseason ranking is about what you would expect.
