I was looking at the team photos of the X-Country team and did not realize how tiny Tonya is.

I would say that pound-for-pound she easily contributes the most toward the Shockers All-Sports Trophy efforts.

Haha good point! And you may not believe this but she is bigger than her sister Scarla who is a newcomer on the team this year!

Seriously though, Tonya Nero is what all is good about WSU and NCAA athletics. Anyone that meets her and gets a chance to talk to her at length always comes away very impressed. Total team athlete that loves running for WSU!
