    Shocks 2-3 Indiana State

A double by Lindsie in the top of the seventh sends Sammie to third after her walk, and Kiersten drives in the lead run with an infield out. Gert previously drove in Lindsie after her walk and stolen base in the first.

But the Shocks commit three(!) errors in the bottom of the seventh, and Kasha gives up a two-out, 0-2 single to plate the tying and winning runs.

Terrible game by the shocks. Left numerous runners on base, 4 errors 3 of em in the infield at all 3 bases in the bottom of the 7th. Kasha pitches a decent game striking out 10

INS returns the favor in Game 2. Shocks win 2-0.

Scoreless after 7, the Shocks score 2 unearned runs in the top of the 8th with the help of 2 errors and a wild pitch.

Kasha picks up the win in relief of Breezy.

Shocks defense with another 3-error game. Shocks seem to be playing tight for some reason.

Hopefully, they come out tomorrow and play free and loose and put more runs on the board.

Breezy went 5.1, working out of jams in the fourth and fifth caused by the Shocker errors.

            Shocks 0-1 Indiana State

The Shocker offense resumed its weekend non-appearance today, only mustering infield singles in the first and second innings. Kasha gave up a double, sac and infield single in the first to take the loss. Three of the six hits she yielded were in the first inning.

Shocks losing two of three and showing an anemic offense against last place Indiana State doesn't bode real well for their chances in the upcoming MVC Tournament.

Maybe it will be wake-up call and they boucne back, but that's a long shot.

                Reality

It has set in. It is a shame no one cares or is willing to speak up. The girls can do it if they put their mind to it.
