Doubtful. It was nice to see both she and Kara have big hits today, as both have struggled some this year.

I see from the game write-up on goShockers.com that Lauren had no home runs and 2 RBI on the season coming into today's DH.

Today 2 home runs and 5 RBI in the doubleheader. Definitely her best day of this season.

Shocks complete the sweep of Bradley taking the final game of the series 3-2 behind a complete game 2-hitter by Kasha and a game winning solo homer by Kara L'Huiller in the bottom of the sixth.

Kasha gave up a walk and a home run in the top of the 1st then shut down the Braves on 1 hit over the remaining 6 innings.

Shocks scored single runs in the bottom of the 1st and 2nd on solo homers by Kiersten Dixon and Jamie Hull. The wasted a bases loaded, no-out opportunity in the bottom of the 4th, but Kara's homer in the 6th provided Kasha with the margin she needed.

This win should guarantee the Shocks a spot in the MVC Touranment. They have moved into 7th place with a final series agains last place Indiana State. The worst the Shocks can finish is at .375 while the best Bradley and Indiana State can finish is .320 and .280.

If the Shocks can sweep Indiana State next weekend they can finish at .500 in the league and perhaps finish as high as 5th.
