Lady Shocks at #9 Oklahoma State

The Shocks play a single at 7pm in Stillwater. The Cowgirls have steadily moved up the national rankings to the current #9 in both polls. They currently are atop the Big XII standing with a 9-0 record.

The polls came out on Tuesday after my original post, and Oklahoma State were actually ranked #7.

Kasha pitched a gem, but the Cowgirl's got a leadoff triple in the 5th and scored her one out later and Anna Whidon made it stand up with a 2 hit shut out. Shocks only got 1 runner to 2nd base.

Kasha pitched a 4 hitter, but as usual, it wasn't enough.

That is a very nice effort by Kasha. She has lowered her overall ERA to 2.60 and her MVC ERA to 2.08 this year from 3.64 and 2.98 last year which is very nice improvement.

Unfortunately, the rest of the team has failed to match that level of improvement for the most part.
