MVC Tournament Games

The quarterfinal round of the women's MVC tournament games on online at MVC TV. The first game playing is between Illinois State and Indiana State. Here's the link to the games, but it seems like there's a lot of buffering.

The game between Wichita State and Missouri State should start at approximately 8:30pm.

Games so far have not exactl been barnburners.

Play-In Round:
8-INS 73 over 9-SIU 57
7-DU 73 over 10-EU 62

QuarterFinals:
1-ILS 76 over 8-INS 39
5-UNI 70 over 4-BU 50

INS must have used everything they had in the play-in game. ILS almost doubled them up.

CU should dispacth DU, probably by double figures again.

Shocks vs MSU may prove to be the best game of he 1st two days. Let's hope so. Shocks style has given MSU trouble this year. Hopefully, MSU won't come up with the answer tonight.

Drake hung tough with Creighton but the Lady Jays squeezed out a 65-62 win.

Shocks fell behind by 7 at 24-17 then came charging back behind Jessica Diamond and led 34-33 with about 2 minutes or so remaining in the half.
MSU with an 8-0 run to close out the half with a 41-34 lead.]

Shocks still in it but I'm not convinced they can win a shoot-out with MSU.

Shocks not attacking the inside very well. I look for them to try to get the ball inside more in the second half.

Boy we've got the Bares number. 20-10 on the season but 0-3 against the Shocks.

If they take out CU next...........
