The Shocks are "ranked" in the low 100s right now. The team is very young (no seniors and 4 freshmen) and should only get better.
They competed well with ISU Red this fall and the Redbirds are the usual choice to win the Valley. The surprise finish at the Valley Tourney last spring could be a sign of things to come.
I expect the Shocks to be at or near the top of the Valley this spring.
The AST's return trip to Wichita, again, will be firmly on the shoulders of our women's programs if it indeed does happen.
Actually, the more I think about it, the AST is going to be a lock to return to Wichita.Comment
