    MVC Cross Country Championships

    Lady Shockers are pre-meet favorites while the men are seeded #6. I've heard that the biggest opponents for the women are Illinois St and Bradley while the men could go anywhere from 4th - 7th. Let's hope we go 1st and 4th (or better) in Peoria this weekend!!!! Go luck Shockers!

    PEORIA, ILL - Junior Tonya Nero and senior Irene Kosgei finished third and fourth in the women's individual race to lead the Wichita State University women's cross country team to its fifth straight conference crown at the 2009 Missouri Valley Conference cross country championships.
