This is waay old news, but I had not heard it before. Shaina, originally from Derby, has transferred to Pacific after two years at Baylor.

She joins Nikki Armagost (or maybe it is the other way around), a freshman from Andover Central.

Yes, once the "frosh phenom" arrived on the scene at Baylor last year, Shaina was only going to get tournament innings before Big XII started and mop-up innings and random non-conference games after the Big XII started.

I was told she was interested in pitching at the Big XII level (she was a late signee at Baylor), so I have the same understanding, WSU was never an option.
