Kasha gives up 2 MONSTER shots in the 4th to allow Drake to score 5 and beat the Shocks 5-1.


Shocks trying for the split as Kasha is nursing a 2-1 lead into the 6th.

Drake ties it up after turning a lead off HBP (yeah right) into a 2-2 tie.


Shocks have the leadoff person aboard in the bottom of the 6th.

Kara flies out but Dix advances to 3rd on a wild pitch....there with 2 down.

Game 3:


Kasha gave up a solo shot in the 4th to open the scoring.

Shocks responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the frame.

Kasha pitching well yet again...the mistakes are becoming fewer and further between. I wish they could get a chance in post season.....

Solo HR by Kara gives the Shocks a 3-1 lead.

Needless to say, with the wind tearing out like it is, no lead is safe but Kasha is 6 outs away from winning a series against one of the best in the league in very tough conditions.

Really missed a chance to add to the lead with runner on 3rd and 1 out.

Now in the 6th, lead off runner aboard with a double.


3-1 WSU.

An error after the double allows an unearned run.

Yes, indeed, very well done. Indiana State swept Evansville, so it still may not be enough.

I'm assuming the 8th place team gets bumped by Bradley since they are hosting. Which is a rule I really dislike.
