While the Shocks currently have a 1 1/2 game lead over 9th place INS, they are in fact at great risk of missing the tournament.

Shocks currently 7-12 have 3 game series remaining against 2nd place Drake at home and on the road at league leader Creighton. Another conference win will be tough to come buy.

Indiana State has a single home game with ILS (8-8), a 3 game home series with last place Evansville (2-14), 2 games at Bradley (7-9) and a 3-game home stand with SIU (10-5).

Indiana State holds the tie breaker over the Shocks winning the head-to-head series 2-1.

If the Shocks finish 0-6 which is a definite possibility, then INS only needs 2 wins in their final 9 games to earn the 8th and final spot in the tournament and to eliminate the Shocks.

As Doc said, we are definitely at risk of missing the tournament.
