1-0 in the 6th....left the bases loaded again in the 5th. This time only 1 out. Flirted with a grand salami but a nice catch at the wall saves the Redbirds. I have a bad feeling that's going to come back and haunt us.Comment

Shocks and Rebirds combined for 26 zeros on the day.
WSU got a solo home run to win the first game 1-0 but gave up 4 in the 4th in the nightcap to split the dh with Illinois State.
That's my first time to see Kasha for more than a few pitches this season with all the lousy weather and schedule conflicts.
She's awfully good. She has a variety of pitches and it's no wonder she dominated in previous years....she has to be in people's heads every time she takes the circle.
The ump had a tight zone and she still managed to be in control. ISU hit a few balls hard, but Kasha was really never in trouble.Comment
