At least they're still in the mix. Hopefully things improve, but with such a short bench it's only a matter of time before fatigue is a major issue.

Shocks, quite unbelievably, lead 18-17 at the under 4 minute media timeout.

A couple of late threes by Kelsey Woodard (their only two of the half), and the Shocks trail Creighton, 28-24 at the half.

Creighton hits a three-pointer on each of its last two possessions of the half to lead 28-24 at halftime.

Shocks will need to play much better in the 2nd half to have a chance, but mission accomplished at this point. They are still in the game at half, despite not playing particularly well.

Shocks still not playing well but somehow hanging in there trailing 34-28 at the 12:00 minute mark.

If they can somehow find 10 minutes of good basketball left in those tired liegs they have a shot.

Shocks pull back to within 39-34 behind Daria Frazier, but they still are struggling to score.

                  3:55 left.

Shocks end their inaugural season under Jody Adams fighting hard, but just not able to score tonight in losing a 49-41 decision to the #2 seed Creigthon BlueJays.

Shocks got hammered on the boards.

Stayed in it with 12-12 shooting from the line with Marcy going 8-8 and Daria 4-4.

Marcy and Daria say goodbye, but it sounds like they left everything they had on the court. Thanks Marcy and Daria a best wishes in your future endeavors.

                    Now the rebuilding begins.

#9 Seed Evansville defeats #2 Seed Creighton on a last second shot 47-45 to win the MVC Tournament and probably the only MVC spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Unfortunately, Evansville will probably draw a pretty tough seeding for their opening game in the NCAA.
