The Shockers break their 30 game regular season road losing streak with a very hard fought victory over 4th place Bradley by a score of 70-68.

Way to show some pride and way to battle Ladies.

Had to listen to the Bradley radio broadcast because of our weather situation in Wichita.

I picked up a the game at halftime with the Shocks leading 35-34.

Shocks built an 8 point lead with around 5:00 minutes left and then hung on overcoming back-to-back possessions late in which Ashley Gladden surprisingly took shots fairly early in the shot click, missing them both and Jacie missing the front end of two one and ones, one with 5 seconds left and a second with 3 seconds left.

Shocker seniors Marcy Sudbeck and Daria Frazier stepped up to lead the Shocker to the win over a team that beat the Shockers by 20 in the opening MVC game back in January. Shockers outrebounded the bigger Braves 37-25.

This game had no impact on the MVC Tournament seedings so it was played strictly for pride. And PRIDE the ladies definitely showed.

Next year I may have to switch to listening to our opponents radio braodcasts when we play on the road.

Very nice win...hopefully we can look back soon and call this one of those "signature" wins that got the program moving in the right direction.
