With two outs in the bottom of the third, a two-run single, double and home run and it is 6-0, Wolfpack. Two more singles (five consecutive hits), and Kasha is in the game. I smell a run-rule.

And Kasha gives up another homer (three-run) to her first batter. We finally get an out and it is 9-0 after three complete.

I smell a long-season. You don't win in fastpitch softball without good pitching and so far we have been anything but good.

I see the plan now - we have them right where we want them - we score two in the top of the fourth and are still batting.

Kiersten knocks in two more - now 9-5. I love this game! :)

              We stop at five runs.

One thing is clear - when conference Saturdays roll around, plan on a late supper.

Kasha gives up her 8th homer of the tournament.

                Nevada up 10 - 5.

10-5 after 4. Too bad we can't our pitching going because I think we'd be a really good team if we did.

What do you expect when your 3 pitcher rotation consists of a freshman and 2 sophomres.

Is this fast pitch or a slow pitch beer league tournament?
Because Denny Crane says so Dammit!

                      Not fast enough apparently.

KK came out of HS w/ one of the best rise balls in the nation.
Judging by the fall games the pitching coach has moved her away from that pitch.
Its going to take awhile to transition when you lose your most dominating weapon.

If that was her best pitch and it was one of the best in the nation, why would the coaches move her away from that pitch?

Good Lord, how big are the dimensions at this stadium? 50 feet?

i know not many coaches are experts in teaching and developing the rise ball.
but i think after the results of this weekend the coaches should rethink how they are molding KK.
