    Marcy Sudbeck named to ESPN Academic All-District VII first team.

    WICHITA --? Senior Marcy Sudbeck became the first women's basketball student-athlete since 2000 to earn first team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII honors when the team was announced Thursday morning.


    Kudos and congrats to a terrific young lady who has perservered through some tough years but who will leave in high regard from Shocker fans, despite the teams struggles during her career.

    IMHO, a very well-desrved reccognition for Marcy.

        What an honor, and what a student-athlete DESERVING of the honor. She also received notification this week that she has been accepted into PA school here at Wichita State for next year, by the way. A great week for a great student-athlete.
        It must be fun for an SID to keep track of such positive statistics, I think...
