When Jody first arrived, I attended the "formal introduction" by Eric Sexton in the practice gym, and it appeared to be a pretty painful role for both of them. (But he was brand new, too.) She made an (unscheduled - appreciated that) appearance at the pre-game dinner for season ticket holders earlier in the season to thank the fans, but she did not appear to be terribly comfortable then either.
As I have noted before, I think the post-game show is pretty bland. Last year, Shane Dennis could clear his throat, and Jane Albright could go for five minutes off that alone. :)
As you noted, we hired her to be a basketball coach and not a public spokesperson for the team. But it might be worth working on down the line.
It's hard to follow what this tread is about! And, I find it pretty amazing that someone went to the trouble to start this thread with such a negative title! i saw Jody speak at the 1st Coaches luncheon back in Dec. She followed Gregg Marshall and did a real nice job. There was a big crowd there and she kept everyone pretty entertained. I used to speak a lot for my company before I retired, & it took me quite awhile to get comfortable at it. I'm sure it's somewhat the same for her or anyone else!
