Women's Basketball will have it's own forum by the end of the year. Any thoughts?

I know it was just one game but they were fun to watch on Saturday. The girls really got after it and played very hard. I can't wait to follow the improvement as the year goes on.

Actually, with VB having it's own forum, this pretty much is a Women's BB forum at least in season.

I'm hoping that KK will generate some Softball talk also this coming Spring.

The hiring at Nevada automatically gave them 10 losses without ever even playing a game.

Nevada plays UNI on Nov. 28 so we might get an interesting point of comparison. Nevada easily won their fist game against Eastern Washington and then was pretty respectable losing only by 14 to #9 Cal on the road.

I think most of the people on the board wish Jane well and don't harbor any ill-will toward her or her new program (obviously there are a few exceptions). It's hard to argue with Jane's career coaching numbers but clearly the fit here was not the right situation for her or for us. I'm just glad that Jody Adams has been able get the team moving in the right direction and put together a recruiting class for next year that lays a foundation for championship style basketball.
