MJ, Jim's success in high school (115-17), at Friends (95-39) and at Seward County JC (418-61) is quite impressive indeed.
My question is, with an 84% career winning percentage throughout his high school, NAIA and Juco coaching career why hasn't Jim ever vbeen given a head coaching opportunity at a D-1 or even a D-2 school?
Is he up against the glass ceiling males seem to be facing now in the Women's game? Hopefully, gender won't be a factor in our next hire and we simply try to get the best person available.
Not sure if that will be Jim Littell or not, but he seems to know how to win basketball games. Can he bring that same kind of success to WSU? No one else has come close so far.
Working against him I suppose is the fact that he has no D-1 head coaching experience above the NAIA level. However, I think he would deserve a long look based on his past success.
