Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

This has the feel of the NCAA volleyball tournament a few years back where WSU was the underdog seed-wise, but swept Nevada and played a competitive match against #1 Nebraska. They have played well this season and are poised to turn some heads in the tourney.

      Go Lady Shox!!

Lady Shocks take the doubles point and lead 1-0.

They need a split of the singles matches to advance.

Torrie Browning is about to go down in the #6 match (6-1, 5-0).

We need 3 of 5 now but only lead in 1.

          Now 2 - 1 USC.

Miranda Gutierrez (USC) d Torrie Browning (WSU) 6-1 6-0 at #6.

Natasa Vuckovich (USC) d Lenore Lazaroiu (WSU) 6-0 6-3 at #3.

We trail badly at the #2 and are about to win the #5.

If those results hold (and they will) WSU will need to sweep the remaining 2 singles matches.

The good news: Madina Rakhim just took the first set in her match 7-6.

The bad news: Stephanie Dalmacio dropped the first set in her match 7-5.

WSU needs them both to advance.

                    Ouch.

Right after the break Stephanie gets broken herself.

Lifeline only down 5-6. She needs to break back to extend the match.
