2017 Shocker Softball

The Lady Shocks have released their 2017 Softball Schedule.

13 games in February. All away from home. Houston, Arizona State and UT-Arlington. Can't balme them for that.

March includes tournaments at Texas Tech and Tulsa.

Of their 1st 23 games only a March 1st game at OU is at Wilkins Stadium. They also host LSU, Nebraska, Missouri in a DH and Tulsa at home. They have single games at OSU and at KU.

Looks like a decent schedule overall.

This is a Thursday game with LSU on their way to Lawrence for a weekend tournament. It may also be a "we will try to play a game in your hometown during your career" for junior Emily Griggs of Maize HS. Some programs try to do that.

With Jenni not expected back from her surgery until about March 1, it could be a rough February.

The mid-week schedule is really decent - a great chance to see some teams who will be in Super Regionals later this year.
