Terrible call leading off the bottom of the 4th as BF is called out on what was clearly an infield single.

In the top of the fourth, the Bulldogs had a one-out double followed by a single where the runner had to hold up and stopped at third. (Where are those throws by Ashley going?! They are off target by fifteen feet.) The next batter lined to Cacy and the runner was doubled off third, the third double play by the Shocks today.
In the bottom of the fourth, Ashley dumped a two-out single to left, but then was thrown out stealing.
Still 1-0 Shocks after four.

Another Wow! After Jenni gets two outs in the fifth, the second on a nice play to her left by Kelli, Katie is brought on in relief. This is the third time through the Drake order, so I suspect this was pre-planned. Jenni gave up six hits in her 4.2 innings.
After giving up a single, Katie gets a strikeout on a pitch up and out of the zone.

To illustrate the offensive depth of this Shocker lineup:
The bottom four spots of the lineup (Brittany, Ashley, LA and Kelli) had seven of the nine hits, six of the seven runs and four of the six RBI on Friday.
Today (Brittany and Macklin flipped in the lineup, but I am staying with the original list) had six of the nine hits, three of the five runs and two of the five RBI.
Brittany set the Valley career doubles record with her 57th and 58th today.
Watching the end of the SEC Championship between LSU and Auburn. After the Auburn starter had been through the lineup twice, they changed pitchers with a 5-1 lead. Ryne, as you may recall, came here from the Auburn program.
