Shocks schedule to play the final game of the season series with Missouri State on Tuesday at Wilkins Stadium at 5:00pm.

I won't be surprised if they push this game back to Wednesday based on the weather threats being forecasted for Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Shocks swept the 1st two games of the season series in Springfield last Wednesday 17-6 and 3-2.

This would cause them to cancel the game at Tulsa - something that would be done to accomodate a conference game. The Missouri State game is scheduled for a 5pm start time, so it is also possible the game could be moved to 3pm, for example.

The Shocker RPI ranking improved to 54 with Northern Iowa at 75 being the only other Valley school below 100. Playing Tulsa again (RPI of 36) would help the RPI, win or lose.

Cacy Williams is Valley Player of the Week.

In Valley play, the Shocks still have five players with an OPS greater than 1.00: Cacy (1.241 and seven homers), PaigeL (1.238 and six homers), Macklin (1.228 and five homers), Brittany (1.183) and Liz (1.105). Ashley and Laurie Anne both have an OPS greater than .900. Liz' BA of .434 leads the Valley.
