Lady Shocks 4x100 relay team just took a strong 2nd place in their heat with a season best 44.30 and those 4 ladies are going to Eugene, Oregon for the National meet. The Shocks had the 4th best time overall. How good is that.

    :yahoo:

BTW those 4 ladies include Sr. Shanice Andrews, Fr. Deja Young, So. Nikki Larch-Miller and So. Taylor Larch-Miller.

Congratulations ladies. Especially happy for our only senior competing this week Shanice Andrews.

Apparently a some rain/lightning delays have pushed the schedule back an hour or so.

The women's 100 hurdles (Taylor and Nikki) will be at 8:05 pm.

Right now they are running the men's 1,500M races (4 heats) and then the women's 100M hurdles will be up.

Taylor is in Section 2 (lane 4) and Nikki Section 3 (lane 8). I assume the Section numbers correspond to the order the heats will be run. Don't blink it won't take long once the gun goes off.

I don't fully understand the way they are phrasing things, but I think there are only 2 men's 1500 heats tonight. I think there were 4 heats to get to this point. I can only find 2 start lists.

I believe the 100 Hurdles are next after this heat concludes.

            I probably just misread it.

They are announcing Section 1. Neither of the twins running in this one. 4 minutes to go.

                It's confusing.

First heat in the hurdles about to run, then it's Larch-Miller time!

13.24 the winning time in heat 1. 13.39 was second. Didn't see after that.

Looked like 5th for Taylor in her heat.

Taylor was 5th but in a faster heat with the top 2 finishers clocking in at 13.15. We will have to wait and see on Taylor.

Nikki in the fastest heat I think she will make it in on time at 13.30. Not sure about Taylor.

Nikki does qualify for Nationals but Taylor misses by less then 0.1 of a second. Nikki at 13.30 and Taylor at 13.50
