... the outstanding relief pitching by Jenni Brooks that kept the Shocks in the same area code score-wise.

7 innings, 4 hits allowed, no runs. Jenni has to be the player of the game. HCKB has to be very encouraged by Jenni's performance.

Jenni lowered her ERA to 1.87 on the season.

And she gave up two of the four hits to the first two batters she faced.

Cacy Williams went yard in the 3rd, the first home run given up by the Texas pitcher in her career. It was 1-0 bottom 3rd when I left for the basketball game.
