WBB signs transfer from Minnesota

Rangie Bessard 6' freshman transfer from Minnesota. Eligible at the end of Fall 2015 semester. Three years of remaining eligibility.

Looks like Rangie played in 7 games totaling 29 minutes for the Gophers. She had a total of 14 points and 10 rebounds. She was 4-9 (1-2) from the field and a solid 5-6 from the line. Can't read too much into such a small sample size but I'm glad she transferred at the semester. We can use her next year.

The Houston area has been pretty good to Jody and the Shockers.

Looks like she can play. of course there is a huge difference between high school and DI college. If she's patient and works hard, she'll be able to help. She does have the advantage of coming from a good DI program, so probably understands the rigors, though few programs are as rigorous as the Lady Shox.
