WSU announced a 30-for-30 season ticket special today. If you are not a current season ticket holder you can purchase a General Admission season ticket for $35.00. Apparently, they are only going to sell 30 of these season tickets which are at a 30% discount from the regular $50.00 general admission season ticket price. Thus the 30-for-30 moniker.
There are only about 2 lower bowl sections on each side of the arena that is reserved seating, so even with a GA ticket you will be able to get a very good seat location except for maybe the Schoolhouse Rocks (or is that Screams) game which you might want to skip anyway.
The Shocks have 16 home games plus an Exhibition with Kansas Newman this year. Even if you want to skip the Schoolhouse Screams game that's 15 games or $2.33 per game.
Whether or not limited this promotion to just 30 tickets is a good idea I do not know. Obviously, they want to maximize the revenues the generate from WBB ticket sales. Heck, the $50 GA season ticket is not a bad deal ($3.33 per game). In fact, I bought 4 of those myself in addition to my reserved season tickets that I will donate to Big Sisters and let the tax man provided the 30% discount.
