Freshman Samantha Stewart picks up a birdie 3 on 13 and now is at +2 through 15 holes. Damn fine work out of the #5 slot. Now can she finish strong.

Shocks pick up some badly needed cushion as Megan opens the back nine par-par-par in the #2 slot. Her playing partner's Bradley's Allison Walsh goes bogey-bogey-bogey and Indiana State's Marissa Uradomo double-bogeys #12.

Shocks now up by 6 on Bradley and 7 on Indiana State.

Shocks now up 9 on Indiana State as their lack of cushion shows up as their #5 bogeys 13, 14 and 15 to go from their 4th best score at +5 to their worst score at +8 passing a teammates +7 number. Let's hope those two keep flip-flopping upwards.

Bryce Schroeder through 15 now at even par in the #4 slot. Strong finish needed.

Shocks up 7 now. It would be great if Bryce and Samantha can finish their final 3 holes and post close to or at their current scores of E and +2. We'd be half way to uncatchable (not a word, I know).

Alejandra Arellano holds serve in the #1 slots as she matches her Bradley and Indiana State counterparts at even par over 10, 11 and 12. Alejandra is at +1 on the day.

Freshman Maria Allejandra Villalobos matches par on 13-14-15 to match Indiana State and pick up a stroke on Bradley in the #3 slot. MAV is it at +1 on the day.

Shocks lead Bradley by 8 and Indiana State by 9. A combined 21 holes to play for the lead pack.

Loyola is the leader in the clubhouse at +65. I don't think that is going to hold up. But it looks like they will pass Drake for 9th place.

Meghan goes par-par-par on 13-14-15 in the #2 slot matching Indiana State's Uradomo and picking up a stroke on Bradley's Walsh to extend the Shockers lead to 9 over both Indiana State and Bradley.

Shocks doing a great job of playing steady, solid golf and just picking up a stroke here and there from top to bottom.

I will perfectly content with par, pars and more pars. If Samantha and Bryce can get through the final three holes in good shape I will fee pretty good also.

Ugh. Samantha goes +3 with a bogey on 16 and a double-bogey on 18. We can live with that if Bryce can navigate those holes.

Samantha finishes with a 5-over 77.

Still waiting on the 13-14-15 scores for the #1 slot. That could be key.

Those middle three holes for the #1 slots are in. Alejandra went 1 over matching Indiana State but Lemek is at par to pick up a stroke and reduce the Shocker lead to 8 strokes with 12 holes (4 times 16-17-18 to play). Hopefully, the Shocks have built a good enough cushion or will play lights out and not need the cushion either way this it what it comes down to.

Bryce finishes par-bogey-bogey in the #4 slot. Indiana State finishes par-par-par to pick up 2 strokes. However. Bradley finishes double-bogey, bogey, bogey to lose 2 strokes to the Shocks.

Shocks up 7 on Indiana State and 10 on Bradley with 9 holes to play.

Still up 7 even though they're limping home. If they can get 1 more in at +2 or +3 it will be about all over. BUT the last 3 holes have been murder on the Shocks so far this tournament.

We've been consistent in that regard. Meghan finished very well in both Rounds 1 and 2. Alejandra was only 1 over on these holes in the first two rounds. MAV was good in Round 2 and bad in Round 1. However, the pressure is more intense today I would think.

Uh oh! MAV finishes bogey, double-bogey. Amanda Smith went -1 over the final 3 holes in that slot. The lead is down to 3 over Indiana State. Bradley has fallen to 4th behind Illinois State.
