Another questionable call against the Shocks sends the Redbirds to the line.

No damage other than an extra foul.

Shocks not getting a friendly whistle so far, but battling none the less. Jacobs playing great and Decker is 2-2. The ladies have missed a ton of bunnies but have been relentless after that terrible start.

26-20 Shocks. 5 minutes left in the half.

I feel pretty good about the Shocks being up by 6 at this point because we really aren't playing that well. Not sure I have ever seen so many airballs on layups and shots in the paint. My goodness.

Kind of a crappy last minute for WSU. Up 10, they had a chance to really put Illinois State in a tough place, but a guarded 3 for ISU, followed by a poor shot by Dapprich, followed by a foul and 2 FTs for the Redbirds, then a turnover (foul?) against Alex and layup keeps ISU in it down 32-29.

Outside the first 2 1/2 minutes and the last minute, WSU outscored ISU 32-15. Problem is ISU won those 3.5 minutes 14-0.

Well not exactly the best way to end the half but a 3pt lead is a 3pt lead.

Alex with one of her poorest halves of the year. Need her to step it up.

The zebras owe us a good handful of calls in the 2nd half although I don't expect to get them. But we should handle this team regardless of the officiating.

This is about the time you find out who is in the best shape and who wants it the most.
