that phrase has always irritated me, and is at least a partial indictment of any coach who uses it....THAT'S YOUR JOB! you are playing one of the very few teams you can reasonably beat and you allow your team to 'COPME OUT FLAT'??????

I was surprised with Taylor too, I think it was closer to the 6:00 mark when she came back. Means she sat for about a hour after playing in the first half.
I moved over and sat in the seats at the end of bench last night. JA could not respond to some of things UNI was doing. Had a chance to cut things to 3pts. after a timeout. We came out and ran a play we had run a dozen times- hit the high post and wings cut by her. We got a charge because UNI knew exactly what was coming.

Someone told me last night, Smith recruited characters- Jane recruits character.

A good coach knows how to do both.
