Good Weekend for Shocker Women's Tennis

The Lady Shocks tennis team picked up a pair of 4-3 wins over #55 Fresno State on Saturday and #42 Illinois on Sunday.

Nice work Ladies. Coach Foster has really done a nice job sustaining the women's tennis program at a high level since taking over the program in 2009. Good hire by ADES (his first I think).

The #49 Lady Shocks continue the strong start to their spring season with a 4-3 win over #54 Kansas in Lawrence on Friday.

LAWRENCE, Kan. ? No. 49 Wichita State defeated No. 45 Kansas 4-3 at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence on Friday. The Shockers improved to 9-3 while winning nine of their last ten contests as the Jayhawks fell to 8-2.

Good job Ladies. Always nice to roast a fresh Jayhawk.
