The Shocks were called for 34 fouls, had 4 players (Jamillah, Kelsey, Michaela and Michelle) foul out and were out-scored by 15 from the line.

Jamillah had a tremendous offensive game with 28 points on 9-12 FG (5-7 on treys) and 5-5 FT's but fouled out with about 7 minutes remaining.

The Shocks simply do not have the depth to absorb this kind of foul trouble and Jody said they need to figure it out.

The main positive on the day is that they survived and extended their winning streak to a school record 11 games. Unfortunately, the team seems to be digressing not progressing. Hopefully, a couple of home games next week against against UNI and Drake will get the Shocks back on track a little bit.
I'm going to be on the digressing not progressing side. There is a whole lot of negativity on the team and its getting to a boiling point. I don't think the coaches will be able to handle what they have started. If it doesn't change I predict the team will implode within a couple of games. Otherwise this would have been a championship team.

        So what changed?

I find it hard to believe that anyone on this coaching staff is going to ask more of their players then they themselves haven't already done. They have been there and done that. I can't imagine the girls at UCONN going through any less conditioning then the Shockers girls.
I think WSU has the best hired staff in the MVC from what I have seen and maybe we should just let them do their job since we didn't get hired for it.

Why the hell would any good recruit want to come to Wichita when the FANS constantly run the coaches into the ground. Much less a coach that has done nothing but improve the program. You are the ones trying to ruining the program. Don't you think other people read this stuff?? Don't you wonder what they are thinking of your comments. On top of that, don't you think the players read your comments. As a player I'm sure it would be easy to take your side and the coaches must not know what they are doing cause these guys on the forum sure sound smart.
Lighten up, and let's just go with the support for the program.

So, all this emphasis on how Jody is coaching but in fact if we had made a couple of missed shots in all of the games we have lost so far, which would have bumped our horrible shooting percentage up a little bit, we would have won the games and everyone would be happy and somehow we wouldn't be talking about Jodys coaching and inexperience or comparing her to other great coaches, except maybe in a good light.

The numbers speak for them self, Start listening.

It's not a conditioning thing or a coaching thing on the court. Its a player thing. I think the players are starting to not play as a team or even be able to trust their teammates. Last year's team was united with a common enemy and played together. This year's team is completely different.

Wow. That's a bomb. I haven't seen that, but I don't have any inside information. I still see a good team that finds ways to win.

Caveat. I did not watch the live streaming.

As poor as it was, I did and the officiating was off the charts bad! I watched the men of ESPN3 and that was very poor video as well.

Jody wasn't in a very talkative mood after the Bradley game. It will be interesting to hear what she has to say on her radio show tonight. Not expecting her to throw the officials under the bus but sometimes you can read between the lines.
