Alie Decker lead the way with 14 points on 6-13 (2-5) from the field. However, Michelle and Alex both posted double-doubles each with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Alie also grabbed 7 rebounds. Alex was sniffing a triple-double as she added 8 assists to her line and had no turnovers. May have gotten the triple-double if her minutes weren't limited to 26 due to 1st half foul trouble. Jaleesha Chapel also had a solid game with 9 points in 26 minutes of play which helped a lot since Michaela was basically a no-show tonight and Jamillah wasn't scoring. However, it does sound like Jamillah had a vey good defensive game.

To recap Alex's line: 12 points on 6-10 FG, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 0 turnovers, 1 block and 2 steals in 26 minutes. I suspect that will score pretty well when @1979Shocker: runs his Prouty ratings.

0.682 Prouty Rating for Alex vs SHSU. An A+ requires >566. Not too shabby.

I caught the first half on a web cast. The press really caused problems for SHSU. The Dap girls did not look good, kind of out of sorts. Ark. State is 4-4 and should pose a bit more competition. Green Bay will be the real test.

Yes, they will, especially on the road. A real test and a real measuring stick.
