It's time to make Womens Bowling an NCAA sport

The sport is growing in the NCAA ranks and many schools compete in both the USBC and NCAA tournaments. In this day and age, winning an NCAA national championship should be the goal. K-State has NEVER won an NCAA championship in any sport, ZERO. We have a program that could compete right away for one. I know there are different limitations that may restrict what kind of athletes we can recruit for bowling due to the semi-professional nature of it. But dang it, this final four run has got me jazzed. I want WSU to win national championships. We have proven we can do it in baseball, proven that we are a threat to do it in basketball, why not add another sport to that list?

My guess is that whenever Gordon Vadakin believes the pros of going the NCAA Route outweighs the cons that will happen. Obviously, we apparently are not yet there as least as far as Gordon is concerned.
