Creighton proved it deserved its #10 seed by knocking of #7 seeded Syracuse this morning 61-56 for the Valley's first NCAA WBB win in a decade. Congratulations to the Lady Bluejays.

However, the Shocker have a much more difficult task in front of them with the TAMU Aggies. In my lead off post to this thread I said I didn't think the Shocks had more than a 5% chance at best to win this game. In today's Eagle they reported that in the last 19 NCAA Tournaments since they went to a 64 team field #14 seeds are a combined 0-76 against #3 seeds.

Maybe the Shocks should point out that with Creightons win over Syracuse their RPI has gone up and request a re-seeding before 3:00 pm.

OTOH, this has been a year of first evers for this Lady Shocker team so why the hell not just add 1 more and SHOCK the world of WBB.

        Go Shocks!

No, but as I look out the window I wonder what were the odds that it would be snowing like this on March 23rd. An omen perhaps?

I remember a certain snow storm in April bringing plenty of good news with it six or seven years ago..... So maybe

Shocks are certainly in deep at Texas A&M but they are hanging in there early which is key.

                  4-4 early.

Good Shocker representation down in College Station.

                    4-4 at the under 16.

A zone the entire time to the under-16? Was in and out - not sure.

No man to man yet @flyingMoose:

                        Immediately 9-4 Aggies.

Michaela's 2nd foul is a large problem for the Shocks.

                            Shox hanging in there.
                            Dapp with 2 fouls

                            and 1 for Price

Nice job by Price. I'm sure A&M is thinking, 'a 14 seed huh?'

                                Shockers take a 12-11 lead.
