MVC Women's Tennis Championship

The #1 seeded Lady Shocks swamped #8 seeded Bradley in the first round of the MVC Tennis Championships today in Omaha. Matches were moved inside due to the weather.

The Shocks won the doubles point with 8-2 and 8-1 wins in the two matches that were completed.

In the 3 singles matches that were completed the Shocks won in straight sets by a combined score of 36-2.

This isn't going to be close. The Lady Shocks were 41-1 against the MVC this spring. The only question is if they even lose a match, which I would bet against.

They will get the autobid. Coach Foster has done a fantastic job with the program.

The cupboard was pretty well stocked when Coach Foster arrrived but sometimes maintaining excellence is harder than building excellence. But you are right he has done a very good job. ADES' first hire I believe. So far, so good.

The only thing I don't like about Coach Foster is that he makes me feel old.
