Beat me to it by three minutes. :)
Saint Louis University is a member of the Atlantic 10. UMass is the usual power in this conference, but Fordham is also doing well of late. The Billikens were picked seventh of eleven (don't ask me) teams in the conference.
They have a record of 12-14, playing in only two tournaments with obviously strong competition. They have lost to Missouri State and split with Indiana State. Their team ERA is 3.74, and they have one hitter above .300 with a team SLOB of .638.
And now I get to the real reason you have read this far in the thread, that burning question we all want to know. What is a Billiken?

OMG, I'm a Billiken!
Thanks for the link @flyingMoose:. I enjoy reading the history on many of these mascots/team names. I think my favorite, next to WuShock, is still the Manhattan Jaspers as far as an interesting story behind the name.

For some reason, LiveStats appeared in the middle of the seventh of the second game.
Shockers 0-1 SLU
No LiveStats so no idea how this game went unless a box score with play-by-play eventually appears. Since Katie is pitching the second game, it is reasonable to assume Sloan pitched this one.
Shocker 7-2 SLU
A three-run blast by Erin gave the Shocks a 5-1 lead in the third and they were never threatened, closing out their scoring with two in the seventh. Erin also had a single and Hayley had two singles among the Shocker's six hits. Katie pitched a complete game, giving up four singles, three walks, two HBP and the two earned runs.

The game write-ups on the Billiken's site have links to play-by-play for the two games.
In the first game, we had scoring chances in four innings, but could cash none of them. We had three singles, two by Layne. Sloan surrendered a ground triple inside the first base bag and then a single for the Billiken's score in the sixth. She yielded five hits, no walks and had five strikeouts.
The Shockers play Illinois State next this weekend in Normal.
