she's been a liability the entire season. I think Jody's use of personnel has been a question mark all season.

Could not agree more! Shot discipline has always been this teams bane. Part of that comes from those whose job it is to shoot passing up shots.
Our defense is horrible thus far. Lets see if we can force some turnovers and for goodness sakes make some layups and free throws!

Shocks simply getting outworked and outhustled at this point. Unacceptable.

Shocks not giving up anyway. Still battling.

Shocks might want to show just a little more urgency on offense.

            Drake leading 53-46.

            Make that 53-45. Haleigh's shot was a 2, not a 3.

Alex Harden with a great steal and breakaway and misses the wide open layup. Then makes a frustration foul.

                Oh man!

Drake hits 1 of 2 FT's to go up 54-52. Then Molly O'Brien turns the ball over. Not sure why the ball is not in Haleigh's or Jessica's hands at that point.

Jaz Gordon misses a wide open 8 footer for the tie. The ball goes out of bounds to the Shockers who promtly throw a bad overpass out of bounds across court.

Drake hits 2 free throws to seal the deal with 5 seconds left.

                  Drake 56 - Shocks 52.

Shocks probably lost this game with the horrible 1st half, although they had plenty of opportunities at the end and just were unable to cash it in.

Enough blame to go around at every position here but I seriously dont understand some of the staff decisions particularly down the stretch. What a blown opportunity. Hats off to Drake. They came to play and we did not.

The coach needs to make sure the right players have the ball at the end of a close game. This was Haleigh's game and she should have had the ball until the buzzer. Jody better take the hit for her team in the post game interviews!!

The team has really been up and own over that last third of the season. Hard to know what to expect out of them. Seems like the put both sides of the equation on display today.

Haleigh was terrific in the 2nd half. Showed why she is the MVC Defensive Player of the Year.

It was nice you identified yourself quite some time ago. Haleigh is one of the finest players I've seen. She tried to take over the game but was not allowed to do so. We had what it takes to win the valley. I do have one hard question. Why is the director of operations who was once a MVC coach of the year and then was let go on the bench making sub decisions. I have no knowledge other than watching who is making the calls. I think there is some disfunctional coaching going on.

Creighton defeated Drake 53-38 to win the MVC Tournament and the Valley's auto-bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Creighton, as expected, is the Valley's sole representative in the Women's NCAA Tournament.

They are a 14 seed (about what I was expecting) and play St. John's.

I hope the Valley makes at least a small pot of money from the MVC Post-Season Tournament to share with member schools. If they do it is probably from televising the Semi-finals and Championship game. If they arent' making any money I say dump it and send the regular season champ to the NCAA Tournament.

If they are making a little money due to TV and want to have a tournament then have a 4-team, 3-game tournament and at least reward the Top 4 teams for their performance throughout the year.

KU and K-State both made the NCAA Tournament.

Missouri State and Illinois State will likely get invited to the WNIT. Doubt that the Shocks will get invited to the WNIT.

I will admit to not giving the same attention as the men and I appreciate the job that Jody has done. However, I would have Jessica and Haleigh shot until their arms fell off. Let the others play off those two. Guess it's a little late now.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.
