70-49 final. This game was really never in doubt. Shocks started the game on an 11-0 run and really never looked back.

Jody played DEEP into the bench, and the Shocks really couldn't ask for a better scenario. Rested and confident after a big win, the face a Drake team that is going to be playing their 3rd game in 3 days.

            The door is open ladies.

Absolutely, the Shocks were all over Indiana State early and the Sycamores were really never in this game. The Shocks got a little sloppy at times, especially the reserves. Haleigh was fantastic. Jessica, Jaz Gordon and Alex were very good

With #7 Drake upsetting #2 Illinois State, with Drake playing their 3rd game in 3 days tomorrow and with the Shocks able to play their bench extensively tonight the Shocks could not have planned a better scenario for the Semi-Final round at 4:00 pm on Saturday

Gotta love that the defensive intensity and focus they brought to the floor tonight. The good thing is that the one MVC team that has shown the best ability to deal with the Shocks' pressure this year has been Illinois State who exited stage left early this evening.

BTW, I have to give credit to the MVC, I thought the video stream was actually pretty decent for viewing tonight's game. Good job MVC.

A look at some game stats:

Shocker starters: 22 of 32 from the field. (Haleigh 7-7)

Shocks shot 61% from field and held Indiana State to 31% shooting. Indiana State only made 15 shots from the field in the game.

Shocks only took 3 treys but made all 3. Indiana State also masde 3 treys but they took 18 attempts.

Shocks won the battle of the boards 35-20. Alex Harden leading the way with 10 boards.

Shocks with 16 assists on 28 baskets.

Only negative stat for the Shocks was the 22 turnovers. Need to value the ball a little better.
