Love what the Shockers are dong this year. A really quality group of young ladies on this team and the coaching staff seems to keep things on a positive note and the young ladies certainly are having fun. Of course, winning at the rate they have helps a lot with that.

That said they still have a tough road in front of them with what's left on their schedule. Let's hope they can hold it together. They can hit, although they may not hit was well as the quality of pitching they face escalates. The bigger question IMO is whether or not our pitching will hold up against this tough finishing schedule.

The Shocks current winning percentage at 29-5 is .853. They have 17 games remaining assuming they get them all in.. If they go 11-6 (.647) the regular season will have been a gigantic success (40-11). But winning 11 of the final 17 will not be an easy task by any means and it's totally possible they will fall well short of that. Looking forward to see how they navigate this tough part of their schedule. I am expecting Bailey Lange to get a lot of work over these 17 games, something you can do in softball, unlike baseball.
