Northern Iowa 58-53 Evansville

Evansville was ahead by six very early in the second half, but UNI went on a run midway through the second half to stretch a four-point lead to fourteen. Evansville closed to three with less than a minute to play using a 9-0 run but could get no closer.

The Shocks now have one-game lead over Missouri State and UNI and a game-and-a-half lead over Illinois State.

Creighton from 80 to 78
Shocks from 92 to 91
Illinois State from 108 to 111.

Winning a road game at Creighton who had a decent RPI helped the Bears to move. I do not know what it has taken RPI-wise to get an at-large bid to the NCAAs in recent years, but Missouri State may be getting close.
