Aliphine Tuliamuk finishes 12th - the best finish ever for a woman from WSU! It's her 4th all-American honor so far at WSU. I know she was hoping for a little bit better but she was in the lead pack the whole race and ran a personal best. Here is a link to the story with quotes from AT and Coach Hunter.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Aliphine Tuliamuk ran to the highest individual finish in Wichita State cross country history Monday, finishing 12th overall in the women's 6,000-meter race at the 2011 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.

Great job Aliphine! Can't wait to see what she does on the track this year!

Hats off to, I'm assuming, a future WSU Hall of Famer. Great showing, Aliphine!!

Congratulations Aliphine. Can't ask for much more than running a PR in the National Championship race. And Aliphine will get another shot at it nex year.

7 Runners that finished ahead of her were Seniors.

@ShockTalk:, I have to believe your assumption about future Hall of Famer is on target.
