Based on the live stats that is what looks like. She is listed as DNS (Did Not Start?) in all three of the events today.

Apparently it was. goshox74 reported that the sore achilles has been bothering her since the MVC Championship.

On the positive side Tanya is young, only a sophomore, and she is really just a baby in the pentathlon and the heptathlon so I would expect her to show great improvemnt over her final two years if she can avoid injury.

Aliphine finishes 8th in the 5k to go with her 5th place finish in the 10k.

Nicely done Aliphine. Looking forward to seeing what you can do over the next two years.

Yeah Tanya did not start any of today's events. She was very disappointed but I have a feeling she'll be back at this meet again next year ready to compete even better.

Aliphine's 5k broke Desiraye Osburn's record of 15:53 by 2 seconds! To put it in perspective when Des ran her time she finished 4th in the NCAA final. Great effort to score in both the 5k and 10k for Aliphine!

Shocks total 7 points and should be in the top-40 nationally.
