McGee and Adney Named to All-Region Team
WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State volleyball student-athletes Sarah McGee and Emily Adney have been named to the 2010 AVCA All-Central Region Team. McGee and Adney both earned honorable mention honors.
McGee, a senior middle blocker from Florissant, Mo., averaged 2.39 kills and 1.27 blocks per set while hitting .336. She earned first team all-Valley honors and was named the Valley Defensive Player-of-the-Year.
Adney, a sophomore outside hitter from Golden, Colo., averaged 3.54 kills, 1.94 digs and 0.56 blocks per set while hitting .248. She also earned first team all-Valley honors.
